Brian is one of the two co-founders of Outpost Capital Partners. In addition to his role as Managing Partner, Brian oversees our trading operations. Prior to co-founding Outpost Capital Partners, Brian was a senior trader at distressed-focused investment firms in the United States and Dubai. His network of insolvency professionals and experience trading in emerging and frontier markets helps give Outpost Capital Partners a truly global reach. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, with a degree in Political Science, and earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Clint is one of the two co-founders of Outpost Capital Partners. In addition to his role as Managing Partner, Clint oversees research and analysis. Prior to co-founding Outpost Capital Partners, Clint was a litigator at Kobre & Kim LLP and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP. His litigation experience allows Outpost Capital Partners to make informed investment decisions in situations where recoveries are driven by the outcome of highly uncertain legal proceedings. He graduated from Yale University, with an interdisciplinary degree from the Program on Ethics, Politics, and Economics, and earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Kevin is a Managing Director, based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, he was General Counsel for a leading ecological restoration and environmental consulting firm specializing in full-delivery risk-transfer solutions. He graduated from Vanderbilt University, earning a degree from the School of Engineering in Engineering Science with a double major in Economics, and earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Jack is a Managing Director, based out of Outpost’s Fort Worth, TX office. He focuses on asset acquisition strategies, with a particular emphasis on affirmative litigation. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Jack was responsible for directing strategy and acquisitions for both corporations and private funds. He has advised public and private agencies on multi-billion-dollar transactions. Jack has also held trading positions at a US-based special-situations investment firm where he acquired assets across multiple jurisdictions. He is a graduate of the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.

Peter is a Managing Director based out of Outpost’s New York office. He focuses on research and analysis of complex litigation situations with an emphasis on antitrust and class actions. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, he practiced law at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and at Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca LLP, held leadership roles in federal multi-district litigations, and clerked for the Hon. Allyne R. Ross of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He graduated with honors from the University of Chicago and earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Caitlin is a Director based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. She focuses on asset acquisition strategies, with a particular emphasis on litigation related opportunities and non-U.S. insolvencies. Caitlin’s work at Outpost is informed by nearly a decade of experience counseling principals in the private equity and financial services industries, as part of which Caitlin negotiated complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and carve-out transactions, leveraged recapitalizations, preferred financings and transactions involving distressed assets and special situations. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, she practiced as a senior corporate attorney at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. Caitlin earned a B.S., M.P.A. and J.D. from Syracuse University.

Tony is a Director, based out of Austin, TX, with nearly two decades of experience in distressed investing and special situations markets. He focuses on the trading and sourcing of distressed, illiquid products across US and European markets. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Tony worked at three US-based investment firms specializing in distressed assets and special situations. Before his career in finance, Tony played five years in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. He graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Economics.

Chris is a Director, based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He focuses on credit research and the trading of legal claims and distressed debt obligations. Chris has over 20 years of experience in leveraged finance and distressed debt. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Chris analyzed distressed situations for two Minneapolis-based hedge funds, CarVal Investors and Pine River Capital Management. Chris also worked as an investment banker in high yield and leveraged finance at Deutsche Bank, Bank of America and Chemical Bank and in institutional sales for two boutique debt trading firms. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Accounting.

Dennis is a Director at Outpost Capital Partners. He focuses on entertainment-royalty and intellectual-property acquisition strategies, with emphasis on music catalogs, film/TV residuals, and publishing-rights monetization.  Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Dennis built successful direct-to-consumer media businesses with Jon Bernthal and Mike Tyson, generating over 200 million video views and 170 million cross-platform impressions across the brands, pioneering talent-owned IP models. He previously held senior leadership positions at Roth/Kirschenbaum Films and Roth Films, where films released during his tenure grossed more than $3 billion worldwide. Earlier in his career, Dennis worked at Bank of New York Mellon and founded ZDONK, an entertainment-financing platform. He graduated from Boston University with a double major in Economics and International Relations and a minor in Art History.

Sean is a Vice-President, based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He focuses on asset acquisition strategies, with a particular emphasis on liquidations and litigation related opportunities. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Sean held positions at CaaS Capital Management and Column Park Asset Management. Sean has also held a trading position at a US-based distressed debt investment fund where he targeted assets in North America and Europe, with a focus on insolvency claims. He is a graduate of Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.

Jack is a Trader based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He is responsible for sourcing and underwriting asset acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on litigation and insolvency claims related opportunities. Jack earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, while competing as a five-year member of the golf team.

Caleb is a Trader based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He is responsible for sourcing and underwriting asset acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on litigation and insolvency claims-related opportunities.  He graduated from Sacred Heart University’s Jack Welch College of Business & Technology with a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Business Economics.

Aidan is a Trader based out of Outpost’s Fort Worth, TX office. He is responsible for sourcing and underwriting asset acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on litigation and insolvency claims-related opportunities. He graduated from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business with a B.B.A. in Finance and Management Information Systems.

Alisa is a Trading and Operations Specialist, based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. She focuses on closing transactions involving distressed debt and litigation claims. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Alisa spent over two decades in various financial services roles, including over eighteen years with Contrarian Capital Management as a Bank Debt Loan Closer and Trade Claims Specialist. She is a graduate of Colorado State University.

Kyle is an Operations Associate based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He assists the legal and operations teams with claim monitoring, contract drafting and review, and due diligence processes. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Kyle played professional golf for eight years on the PGA Tour’s developmental tours across North and South America, Canada, and China. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Foreign Affairs and Political Science, while competing as a four-year NCAA athlete on the golf team.

Gabby is an Operations Associate based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. She assists the legal and operations teams with claim monitoring, contract drafting and review, and due diligence activities. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Gabby worked on the Match Business team at Major League Soccer in New York City. She graduated from the Leon Hess Business School at Monmouth University and is currently completing her MBA at the LaPenta School of Business at Iona University.

Owen is an Operations Associate based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He assists the legal and operations teams with claim tracking, contract drafting and review, and supporting the origination team throughout the contracting process. Owen graduated from Elon University with a B.A. in Economics.

John is an Operations Associate based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He assists the legal and operations teams with claim monitoring, contract drafting and review, and due diligence processes. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, John gained experience in financial analysis, operational efficiency, and client relations through various business and administrative roles. He graduated from Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business with a degree in Finance.

George is an Operations Associate based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He assists the legal and operations teams with due diligence processes. George graduated from Elon University’s College of Arts & Sciences with a B.S. in Statistics and a minor in Finance.

Ben is an Operations Associate based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. He assists the legal and operations teams with claim monitoring, contract drafting and review, and due diligence processes. Ben graduated from Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business with a degree in Finance.

Ariana is a member of our in-house legal team, based out of Outpost’s Connecticut headquarters. Prior to joining Outpost Capital Partners, Ariana practiced as a corporate attorney at Kastner Gravelle LLP, based in Austin, TX, and began her legal career as a corporate and securities attorney in the New York office of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. She graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School.
